Once you sign up, you’ll receive discounts on dental procedures at Hawaii Family Dental offices. Each office can look your membership up during your dental appointment—no claims or additional paperwork required.

How is this different from dental insurance?

Unlike traditional dental insurance, a discount dental savings plan has no waiting periods, deductibles, or claim forms. You pay a discounted rate directly to the dental office, and there are no annual limits on usage.

Can I use the plan if I already have dental insurance?

Yes, you can! A discount dental savings plan can be used to reduce out-of-pocket costs for treatments not covered by your insurance or for expenses after you’ve reached your insurance coverage limit.

Are there any waiting periods?

No! With a discount dental savings plan, your savings start immediately after you sign up. There’s no waiting period for any of the services covered by the plan.
